Airport · SAW
Istanbul's compact Asian-side airport, base of Pegasus Airlines. Single terminal, walking distances are short, and most of what you need — including the official Sabiha Gökçen taxi rank, M4 metro and HAVABUS coach — fits onto two levels.

Local Turkish brand by Otokoç. Often the cheapest small-car option.
Local provider, sharp pricing, well-maintained fleet of Turkish-market cars.

Always pre-book online. SAW counter walk-in rates are typically 2–3× the website price for the same vehicle class.
02 · Food & dining
Fewer outlets than IST but the essentials are all here. Most cluster on the airside food court.
Simit Sarayı, Mado, Köfteci Yusuf, Kahve Dünyası — quick, reliable, fairly priced for an airport.
Starbucks, Caffè Nero, Espressolab, Gloria Jean's. All on airside.

Big Chefs, Cafe Crown, Mavi Cafe. Slower service but a proper meal before a flight.
BIM kiosk for water and snacks. Notably cheaper than airport convenience stores.
Hafız Mustafa, Koska — vacuum-packed Turkish delight, baklava and lokum boxes for hand luggage.
03 · Currency & banking
As at IST, ATMs give the best rate. Use exchange offices only for emergency cash conversion.
Counters in arrivals and departures. Useful for converting leftover TRY back to EUR/USD before boarding.
Several local exchange counters, slightly better rates than Travelex but worse than ATMs.
Garanti BBVA, İş Bankası, Vakıfbank, Akbank, QNB Finansbank. Always pick TRY, not your home currency.
Smaller branch presence than IST. For wires/cheques, plan to use a city branch instead.
04 · Tours & transfers
Smaller tour selection than IST. Best value is to book online before travel; airport desks are convenience-priced.
Multilingual help with tours, transfers and city info. The most reliable starting point for first-time visitors.
If you have a long Pegasus layover, partner desks offer city-tour combos with airport return.
Independent operators near the rank quote inflated "fixed" prices. Use BiTaksi/Uber, HAVABUS coach, or M4 metro instead.
Some Pendik / Kurtköy area hotels run free shuttles — check at your hotel's desk before arrival.
